GrassMesh™

The GrassMesh™ range of robust, extruded, polyethylene meshes provide a discreet method to improve wear resistance and reinforce grass areas used by vehicles and/or pedestrians, whilst maintaining their appearance. This offers outdoor event organisers a practical method to preserve grassed parking areas and improve access and mobility.

They are ideal for car parks, recreation areas, caravan parks, access routes, light aircraft taxiways, livestock areas and urban parkland verges.

All grids are UV stabilised, tough, and rot proof to provide a long service life.

GrassMesh™ Light is best suited to light load permanent applications such as pedestrian and disabled paths or anti ball plugging on golf courses.

GrassMesh™ Medium is a premium grade, tough, flexible, open mesh best suited for light load permanent turf reinforcement on grass areas used for occasional car parks and footpaths and for anti-ball plugging on golf courses.

GrassMesh™ Flex is the next generation of grass protection meshes. Previous meshes proved to be one of the most robust and reliable solutions for protecting grassed areas, but we identified a need for improved slip resistance and flexibility. The unique construction has a high traction surface which is over 33% better than other grass protection meshes. While the re-designing wave mesh pattern makes the mesh more flexible enabling quicker installation. The range comprises of 3 grades and as a guide the Flex 1000 is best suited to pedestrian, wheelchair access and occasional car use; Flex 1400 is suitable for occasional use of light commercial vehicles, caravans and 4x4s and Flex 1800 is suitable for occasional use of HGV’s access routes for fire engines and refuse trucks. However, we strongly recommend that you contact us first with your specific requirements in order for us to advise accordingly, please also note that in all cases the ground should be firm and well drained and the individual ground conditions will determine the suitability for using a mesh.

Fixings

150mm long ‘U’ shaped, or 300mm long ‘J’ shaped, squared topped, 6mm ribbed rebar fixing staples for all grades applied at average 100 pins/roll.

Also optional yellow plastic marker pegs for outlining parking bays and border.
